Hello Religious Education Families!
 
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton 2024-2025 Religious Education Registration is now open.   We are excited to welcome back grades 6, 7, 8 and 2^nd year Confirmation students.  We appreciate all families for their understanding and cooperation during this transition.  
This year we will be promoting family involvement.  The family has an honored place in catechesis. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states, "parents receive the responsibility of evangelizing their children" (2225). Each month we will have a parent session, centered on the unit theme that will be covered in the children’s classes.  This will allow for family conversation and continued learning on the same topic throughout the month. Parent sessions will be held the first class of the month, while the students attend their class.   Although it is strongly encouraged that parents attend all parent session, they are required to attend five of the seven sessions.  What a wonderful example to your children, if you not only bring them to lean and grow in their faith but stay to grow in yours as well! 

Registration can be done online at, https://www.saintliz.org/elementary-registration.  After submitting the form online, to complete your child’s registration we will need a completed medical treatment release form, tuition payment, and if your child is preparing to receive a sacrament a copy of their baptismal certificate. We are looking forward to next year’s Religious Education Program!  

As we move through the summer months, we hope you will continue to practice our Catholic Faith at home.  Some ways to do this are: 

• Pray daily as a family
• Read the Bible
• Attend Mass
• Sign up for 52 Sunday’s, each week you receive an email with the weekend’s readings as well as family reflection questions, activities and more.  https://www.52sundays.com/
