Free Tai Chi classes are meeting once again in the Parish Hall, with the new season beginning Monday, Sept. 9th at 10:30 a.m. This art is a moving meditation & fitness regimen developed to promote the flow of Chi (or energy in the body). The slow, flowing movements have been shown to offer numerous benefits to the quality of life, including decreases in stress & anxiety, improved circulation, & more. It is recommended by the National Institute of Health because they found that seniors took Tai Chi, fell 475 less than those who didn’t. When done wisely, it does no damage to the body & can help it keep working for as long as you need it. For more information or if you have any questions, call Lynne Pfannes at (248) 524-1951.
